Kiro woke with a start; the noise of Pidove passing overhead almost startled him. He grunted as he sat up, still thinking about how he was going to get his third badge. The young boy looked at his pokéballs, which contained his trusted Pokémon Snivy, Riolu, and Starly. He needed to get to Castelia soon. He stood up and looked to the road ahead. It was time to move.

(I was in a rush, so I'll type more later).

After a day of traveling, Kiro finally reached the grand Castelia City. He's trained hard for this battle and he wasn't about to lose. With determination, he headed straight for the Gym, walking briskly and quickly. Riolu began cry out to Kiro, eventually getting Kiro to stop.

Kiro: Oh, sorry Riolu, I didn't mean to leave you behind. I'm just so amped up for this battle!

Riolu: Ra!

Kiro: Haha! I know you're amped to! Are you ready Riolu? Let's get that third gym badge!

Riolu never did like being in a Pokéball. Excitement coursed through the trainer and his Pokémon as they entered the gym. The setting of this gym made Kiro feel like he was in a treeless forest surrounded by beautiful art. Kiro and Riolu looked at each other with fire in their eyes, then nodded to each other, ready to win. They both walk forward into the Gym, eventually reaching the battle platform.
Kiro closed his eyes and thought about the promise he made long ago to a friend. That promise he made was to become the Champion of the Unova League and become the best Pokémon Master. That friend passed away from large amounts of poison due to an Arbok attack. Kiro blames himself because he was the one who had the idea to venture into unfamiliar land...

Burgh: Welcome to my humble Gym! I am Burgh, the Bug type specialist. I believe you are here to earn your Insect Badge?

Kiro: That's right! My name is Kiro and that Insect Badge is as good as mine!

Burgh: Don't get too cocky Kiro. Now, lets dance!

Kiro: Alright, let's go!

Kiro: (A bug and poison type, right? Hmm...). Alright, I choose you, Deino!

Burgh: It's time to have some fun!

Couple of things Fox:

If you can't see no further than your nose, how can you know there is a thousand feet of free fall then a body of water beneath? You also kicked the stone later, and anyway, you wouldn't hear the sound at such a height. Try to change that please.
