I've noticed that no one mentioned the name "Magnolia" yet.  I might as well claim it.  It sounds like it would go well with a female professor.

i know that the idea is to put a common name of a tree, but i have some interesting cientific names, like Seldin (male or female), Salix (this one is a gender of trees; male or female), Plumeria (female), Zelkova (male or female), Kunth (male)

kunth is a Tree of Pseudosamanea
Zelkova is the tree Zelkova serrata thats a japanese tree
Salix is a willow

the others are most like the same name
