Join Team Rocket

It would be great to actually join team rocket, perhaps as infiltration  and you have side quests to either sabotage or participate.
Though participating could cause the Pokémon to become unhappy and if u screw up the mission you could get caught and lose money or items ect.
Not suggesting that players get involved with steeling NPC Pokémon but steeling money, books, artifacts ect.
A possibility for a reward at the end is a rare Pokémon or Item ( or access to a sales person who sells things that aren't normally available).

Nar nothing like that, stealing stuff that wouldn't make any difference to game play

I like your idea but I think it would conflict with the storyline of the game.
Maybe an update later on.

Also, if there's a team rocket faction, the PU team would most likley have to create another faction.
We already know that there's going to be guilds (clans w/e), and I'm happy with that alone.

Coming from the guy who IS writing the story line, Team Rocket will in fact be making an appearance, however they will not be the only villainous gang

My apologies. I watched Spirit's videos and saw the villainous gang and assumed they would be the only ones.

But still, the option to join Team Rocket would be stupid.

I think it's a good idea.
The more options the player has, the better.

I suppose that's kind of a good idea...
Maybe a certain level of good karma to do some quests for the Professor or whatever, or a certain level of bad karma to do missions for Team Rocket/whatever.
Also, maybe exclusive areas for people who have completed the special karma quests (you can only join one 'faction' as it were) where you can buy exclusive clothes etc?

Hmm... I'm beginning to think this isn't such a bad idea...

"stealing" pokemon from a designated lab as a quest for team rocket = Maybe.

i like the idea, but has the others say, it changes the story line, and also, stealing pokemons its a litle to of the place, you now, and the thing of sabotage, its not much pretty, what iits the point then to be part of the team rocket, or the new team developed in the game
