I already finished the game, beated the final trainer (Red) that is. I caught Groudon, then never played it since. I don't have much time, and I still get a preference of Platinum over SS. I'm trying to build a team with trained EVs...

Any questions from HGSS? I'll give my best to answer them! :)

Nope, it's the same system to win BP. :)

Just take the six pokemon that I will carry up to the league and train them with the NPCs. I don't skip any.

At the league, they are within the 40-50 levels. The use of revives and hyper potions becomes very handy and allows me to go rapidly. Then, I go through the league a couple more times to get in the lv 45-55 then I go to the SS.Anne to the Kanto region. The gym leaders then are quite easy, and I follow the same training. All NPCs, no wild battles, with the six pokemon.

After that, the league again to train up to 65-70, then wet to Red and beat him despite the 10-20 levels difference.

Wow, it's been a while since i've last posted in this topic. Well, it's the normal thing. If you have a question about a pokemon game, you can post it here. If I don't know it and can't find it, some of the other members can contribute as well.

How does trading with friends work along Wi Fi?

This is my case:
I want a trade over WiFi.
Friend is not sure to be online at the time of the trade.

Can I deposit my pokemon somewhere (where exactly? On the underground floor of the pokecentre? or GTS?) where only this friend can have access to? It would be good if someone else got the pokemon instead.

No, that's currently not possible to do. The best you could manage would be to put it up for trade on the GTS, with the exact Pokemon your friend is trading, and hope he manages to get to it before someoone else.

Otherwise, you will have to be on at the same time. I suppose a second option is a mediator. Give it to a third person and have him switch them for you. Though, it would have to be someone you trust. I wouldn't recommend it.

Oh, okay. I'd like to clear some things up.

How the GTS works exactly.
- Trainer1 searches for example : Rattata.
- List of Rattata appears. XX Trainer2 is giving a Pidgey for a Rattata
- Accepts. So, Trainer1 accepts, and gives Rattata to receive Pidgey from Trainer2.

Is this the way it works?

Basically, yes, but in Detail you Must go, young Padawan. (actually you are older.)
By loving so many, I have touched their lives and helped them rebirth as well. To be strong is to instill strength in another.

Ok, I  must get things settled right then... I hope it'll work, losing a red Gyarados like that to the public...

It's in fact the other way round... I'm giving the red Gyarados to someone :)

Well, you can, if you have access to wi-fi and if you can find a time that both you and your trade partner can trade in if your trading with someone in specific.
