In Game Music/Pokemon Radio

So I know Hiteryan is in charge of making the in game music, and i've even heard some of it on his myspace profile. Anyways as we all know, music is a huge factor in a game, and the same tune over and over can make a game very boring. Although this would be different. Not  in game route music but...


So here's the idea:
A Pokemon Radio. Where perhaps you can upload your own playlist into the game...

nvm. This idea was stupid. I just realized you could have another tab open in your browser and listen to your own music if  you wanted to. or even have your i tunes open.

Perhaps PU can have it's own radio. Where they could try and let people request songs. Maybe something like that?

Haha. I'm more inclined to the idea of players making one or two songs and then submitting them to the in-game radio. ;P That'd be a pretty cool feature.

 It'd be sick as hell though if the PU team like literally talked on a pokemon radio, and it was broadcast-ed through the game, and they give you hints on where to locate rare items or just any kind of info in general.

although it probably be pre-recorded unless you could find a way to actually talk live.

i don't know about the rest of the team, but i actually think that would be pretty cool! kinda like the prof. oak talk show they had in gold and silver

One question about it though... how are people in the PU team going to give you the hints? I mean, would they be looped, or broadcast-ed once a day, occasionally? Any player might miss out one...

Also, keeping not changing anything would make it boring for players who played it for days and seeing the same thing again and again. Someone, or more people would have to change it now and then and make it original. I guess more details on how it will work is required.

In gold/silver for example, practically the same message goes on and on. I think that most people who used the radio then only put a certain channel to listen to the music (or to wake up Snorlax).

The songs... You mean those in our DB? Ohhh, the ones you mortals can't access.

I don't think any songs will be previewed in any form of radio. We'll probably keep it as a surprise for the actual game. Pre-beta testers will get a taste of it. But I can assure you the soundtrack is awesome.

How about, whilest playing the game, you can select between different tracks you have unlocked. So for instance after walking along route 1 you can play the route 1 track when ever you want.

Nope, songs will be automaticly played depending on where you are.

Because I had an idea like this and couldn't find it.
I thought it would be pretty sick to have a plug-in for music.
In due time of course.
I don't know maybe you could share music or another player could hear it when they're around you.

No this would use too much bandwidth.

PU radio would be awesome like have a recording for different events so you don't have to listen to the same stuff over and over and have different stations too so many possibility's
