Not really, your brain continues to develop until you die. I'm 19, and I still have a lot to learn about the world, and about life. No one truly learns everything in a short 18 years.

Not in that away Cortex.Technically the brain reaches it's top at around that age.

And then slowly begins to degrade.
Human wisdom is ever growing,a human mental capacity and ability to learn have a max.

I beg to differ. You see, the human mind is a complex thing, we can expand our knowledge even more if we train ourselves to be able to, there is no limit, since connections are constantly being made all the time, and the more we practice with something, the easier it is for the brain to make those connections. We can be masters of everything if we put enough time and effort into it, humans just lack the patience to do so.

Try enroling a 80 year old person in school to learn 3 distinct languages.
Sure he/she will learn them, sure. But im also sure that it would take quite a while.

Now do the same think with a 16 year old teenager.
Now the average kind though,a studious one.(Because we all know all my kind wants is parties, bad stuff, other bad stuff, and girls).

He would probably speak them all to atleast decently quite quickly.

I never said a elder can't compare mentally to a youth.
Im stating that it would take more work for the elder though.

Because yes,we are all perfect machines. Some more then others.
We evolve in the face of progress,we grow disease resistant,we develop cures.

But we ruin it all.By mistreating both the body and the mind.

PS:This whas John,in "Spiritually Deep".Roger,over and out!

I would rather think that it would be due to the lack of 'learning' for the 80 year old.

If one is willing enough to learn and if, in your case, the 80 year old has been learning all his life instead of stopping to do work which is repetitive and not really enriching his knowledge to the same extent that 'learning' itself does, then I would say yes, he would be able to pick up the three languages.

The mind also needs to be trained. If you just stopped learning right now and try to continue your studies after 4 years, you will see that you cannot catch as much as you would have if you instead have not stopped learning.

The mind, one can say, is like a muscle and needs to be kept in good form to be able to work at its utmost level.
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....
Also, forum notification emails are not getting in my inbox... again...

Hey guys im a very active person and i just read every page that was ever added to this guild (Jeez a headache is a problem now....) but im just saying i would love to join this as i will need a guild and this seems to be the most user friendly to me and im asking you Cortex if i can join.

on another note i dont think that the groups inside a guild are a good idea as there isnt much power over the main leader cause the individual group leaders would (from past experiance with my own guild in another mmo)  get power-crazy unless they are people cortex knows he can trust and entitle them to that power... thats all have a nice day.

Welcome Gawerty, and we kind of handled that. If you see a fellow knight, just join as a party, and travel, while upholding the guilds views in the game.  That simple. You don't have to be in a party with just knights, we make ourselves available to those who need someone to travel with, and provide assistance anyway we can. Not to mention pointing new members in the right direction so they can have an easy start in the game.

always nice to get off to a good start. and personally, i kindof find automated tutorials somewhat annoying. they just dont work as well as having a real person help you learn the ropes. now;
Welcome to the guild, Gawerty! good to have another member, especially one who'll take the time to read through the 103 pages we've compiled, and then immediatly give a relatively impartial opinion. the squad idea is mearly a way for people to communicate and enjoy each others company, along with allowing more senior members to help the newer players get the hang of things.
