Been playing for yearssss. I used to play on the shoddy battle simulator
and finish highly in the tournaments consistantly.

Just to point out about the game we are making: If you're here for competive battling on our MMORPG we would be sorry to lay down your hopes:

All Pokémon get their stats balanced so every pokemon gets a chance to shine in battle.
Some of the specific training systems don't get added simply because we otherwise get the division between Competitive battlers and the Metagame players. So theres no need for special training to become competitive in PVP battles.

So this game is merely based on the skill of the Player and not on special training. ~

Mostly true, just a little nitpick. Breeding in it's entirety will be included as well as things such as IV's and Natures. So, for the most part, that part of competitive battling will be intact. There will still be competitiveness in PU, but it will also appeal to the casual player as well.
