Oh, okay Declan. Good to know that.
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

lol, that reminds me of when I got my butt kicked when I went to the Pokemon Leauge a second time in Pokemon White and all of a sudden, the Elite Four and Champion had level 75 and above Pokemon and I was taken by surprise and got my butt kicked on the first one! XD

It was my first pkm play ever, i didn't know about types and stuff. My team at that time was chikorita, Bellsprout, a unleveled sentret and i think a caterpie. that super effective gust is still swirling in my head.

chikorita is the best starter in that game i think if u lost its not chikoritas fault and i think there is no excuse for losing to falkner because u can get a freaking onix or a donphan b4 fighting him anyway i always take falkner out with zubat

Actually. The best starters in the Johto are Cindaquil and Tododile.

Chikorita get's a VERY rough start.Flying and bug,and then it needs to gain alot of firepower for Miltank.
It's stats are very balanced.Yes,if you can get past the rough start, and endure the blow at the 7th gym.Chikorita becomes a viable choice due to his hybrid stats.

But overall a newbie/casual player will be better of with a cindaquil or a totodile.

Yes,you can always catch other pokémon,as geodude or the traded onyx. But's it's just more reasuring to know you got a powerhouse backing your team.

Don't mind her BlueFairy. I don't think she makes sense 90% of the time.

lol i've started with them all and the first thing  i always do is train to a high lvl cyndaquill faints after about four fights and is very weak and learns smokescreen a useless move i believe totadile is a boss so i'll give u that but the bug trainer and flying trainer can both be taken out by a rock pokemon....and several others i just find it easy to play with chiko than the rest i've never beaten the game with cyndaquill and i hate all his forms they all suck to me he is a horrible fire starter the worst i've ever played with he's like a slightly stronger version of ninetales whom i always hated untill they gave him drought of course...i dont find cydaquill quillava or typhlosion usefull...that makes perfect sence to me jerry but honestly i think all of those starters suck compared to the others
