New game is coming (Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition)

Yea a lot of people have lost interest in TCG. But you can found somebody online and play through Skype.

Actually just today I found out my friends have card! ^ ^" But at least one doesn't know how to battle, so I'll have to teach 'em, but still!

And I never had considered Skype.... Actually I still probably won't for a while, but thank you for the suggestion!

I got to second gen.... because my first real, full deck was a Psychic/Water deck with Espeon as the main pokemon. And then the deck was sort of stolen/manipulated away and I haven't really played since.

It could have potential, but if Nobunaga's Ambition is a game where you try to conquer Japan, does that mean you're trying to take over Japan with an Eevee? I mean, Eevees are great and all, a personal favorite, but other characters have freakin' Mewtwo, Groudon, Zekrom, and Articuno!? WTFudge?

I guess pokemon is running thereselves out. They need to make a good idea like remaking pokemon yellow red and blue. Not something like pokemon rumble with humans.

Except that there are no 'trainers' in that game but warriors, and each warrior can control only one pokemon. However, surprise! You can choose (up to) six warriors before each conquer.

He brings up a good point. Porygon has appeared in the MD games before. And if it was a world untouched by humans, how did that happen?

They usually don't bother to explain that far.

Well, I won't exactly say that it's untouched by humans, since the story itself is originally based on a human (you) who got transformed into a pokemon. It wouldn't surprise me that some reason along the lines that Mewtwo found refuge on that land, seeing that there was a remote possibility for humans to find him (referring to Giovanni) and brought some pokemon with him.

It's just speculation, but I'm happy to be able to befriend Mewtwo even in those games

Well in stead of thinking in the past, maybe it's in the future where technology degraded for some reason and the pokemon were only left as a memory. Im not trying to be too optimistic, but there are possiblities since the companies running pokemon is and running out of ideas.
I just wish that they would do something like HG and SS again because i really enjoy the come back of the old games by inserting 3 years into the furture and that was a nice touch. It's better to do that instead of making rushed ideas.

Well, we currently have B2 and W2 coming which are technically what you're mentioning, that is sometime after the story in one game.

And I don't think that it's in a future where technology degraded XD From all what has been said, I really don't think that it's in the future
