My position still stands on this new game. I don't like how it looks, and it looks like it's ripping off fire emblem.

gotta dissagree with you there, its looks like Final Fantasy Tactics from GBA, u can check it, Fire Emblem is pure epicness, notihng like this trash

i agree with cortex this game just doesnt look that fun

Advanced Wars its epic, the way the field is as nothing to do with this pokemon game

Fire Emblem its epic as well, the field isnt even close to this pokemon game

I have never played Final Fantasy Tactics are any other FF game.
But if you better check there are flying Pokemon like Serebii said can fly through obstacles (flying unitts in AW)
Then Bushou Power, power of trainer that can be launch to aid in battle, like power in AW.
Moving is similar, Attack is similar so this game looks like AW to me..

The Boshou Power its the Totema (Espers) in FF TA, Flying pokemon will be able to walk through places that normal pokemon cant, just like flying monsters in FF TA

My only real issue with this is that it brings Pokemon cruelty to a new level. If the bad teams of the games are bad because they feel hurting pokemon is justified when taking over the region/world, then what are you, using pokemon to attack other pokemon to take over the region/country?
Sorry... Maybe a bit sensitive over the game, but it's an ethical point I thought I'd bring up...

but if u remenber that pokemon Movie with Lucario and Mew, you will remenber that Lucario lived on a past that included kingdom and using pokemon to battle between kingdoms, so a game like this wouldnt be a surprise

I think its only appropriate that these things exist. Of course Pokemon would be used in battles for centuries, and hey, that includes wars. I guess the thought of Pokemon killing people and vice versa is pretty disturbing, but in a realistic aspect, yeah, it happens. I mean hey, even in Pokemon RGB, Blue asks Red if he's ever had a Pokemon die, and no longer has a Raticate, which pretty much implies that Red killed it on the St. Anne. The only thing missing is the crazy PETA groups that would exist in the Pokemon world...

Having only played FF:4 Heroes of Light, and playing Fire Emblem for as much as 10 seconds, I can't say I can relate to this last conversation. That having been said, I think this game will turn out to be better than some of the other pokemon spin offs, because let's face it, with the exception of Mystery Dungeon, the spin offs are terrible. I really don't like this game, because it only takes the pokemon themselves and makes a completely different game out of it, but it'll at least end up being better than...
