Are natures kept in PU?
« on: February 19, 2010, 08:32:38 PM »
The title says it all. Natures were a way to balance pokemon in the game, removing 10% stat (final stat, not base stat) from one 'area' and adding it to another 'area'.

For example, the Hasty nature reduced the defense by 10% and increased the speed by 10%.

I don't think any thread was into the topic itself, but just touching slightly the subject.
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....

I can't give a 100% sure answer but I think these will be dumped, since we're balancing all Pokémon for our game.

That's why I was asking. Because of the balance project, you might be removing that stuff.

I like the feature of natures though. This keeps the randomness in pokemon, and the trainer has the choice of how to customise his/her pokemon in a way.

Well, I just hope that any changes you do, will turn out for the best.

Cheers!

If natures are dumped they'll probably be replaced with something similar in the Pokémon skill/ability tree.
