How many abilities will the pokemon have?
« on: June 10, 2012, 08:08:12 AM »
So I was wondering if the pokemon will get to have all its abilities or just one. I saw the examples from the reports list but then I realized some if not all of them were from smogon. If someone who knows or who has been on the test server could explain how the abilities work, that would be nice.

To my understanding, each pokemon has 2 or 3 abilities, only one of which is actually on the pokemon you catch, randomly chosen out of its abilities. There's also something called dream world abilities, although i have no clue what they are.

This link will explain abilities perfectly. Abilities on pokemon will work the same way on PU as stated on that site.

Thanks to sharing it with us, Roloc, but there are only 1 or 2 moves.

Okay, just to clear things up:

Pokemon will have one ability from the ability(ies) that it can have, natural or dreamworld.

Pikachu have either Static or Lightning Rod, and if you catch a Pikachu, you can get one of those two possible abilities.

And I'm not sure what moves have to do here...
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....
Also, forum notification emails are not getting in my inbox... again...
