Why do I have the feeling that all pokes will receive one eventually? I know we thought there was a limited amount before, but now they're becoming more commonplace in the metagame. Then again, it may only be fan favorites, certain legends, and starters.

I guess they want to give people more strategic decisions as well as boosting the under-appreciated pokémon like Mawile.

Though Mega Blaziken was more of a fan-service I guess... Whoever decided Blaziken needed a boost must've been only looking at the fact that Blaziken was the other starter that was popular.

... anyways another thing:

While megas do add SOME strategic value, most of the Pokemon are far more powerful as normal due to items. Megas are really only good for the more weaker Pokemon like mawile, medicham and khangaskan and a few others. I think gamefreak is really just going off of favorites for 80% of the pokes they choose.

Looks really promising =P
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Yep, I gonna claim the secret base near Registeel's ruins, it's my favourite place with the lake, and the berry garden right next to it. :3

I've decided. I will do a nuzlocke of Omega ruby. Not just a simple one, a Pinball one! Got the inspiration from the nuzlocke forums. :3

Ruleset will be:

- If a pokémon faints it will be put in the deathbox
- All pokémon should be nicknamed
- After each gym, the amount of areas what the player comes across will be counted, this is the amount of pokémon the player should catch in pinball.
- The pokémon you catch in pinball are the ones you may catch
- IF the pokémon you catch in pinball is not available yet, put it in the list for later catch.
- You may only evolve a pokémon if you manage to evolve it in pinball.
- If you fail a catching round in pinball you have failed an attempt.
- Going game-over in pinball means no more catches for that gym (example: You caught 2 while you may catch 5 and go game over, you only get those two available)
- When you reached your catch limit, stop and save your pinball game if you didn't lose yet.

Wish me luck for then ~

I'm a lucky person in that aspect. c: Some time ago I got second in a local tournament in a local gamestore (Kind of lucky though, first round was trivia questions, second round multi battles, which I got paired with a guy who had a complete competitive team from his friend. Lost last round against that guy of course when we had to fight for first and second place.) Second prize was 50% discount on either Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire.

So... I gonna get the game quite cheap. c:

Lucky you, I wish our game stores would hold such a tournament. I'd try to get first place. I have a few full competitive teams built.

West of Europe, I don't think you'd know the country, but I find myself really lucky as well because once in a while I go to UK (it's like my 2nd home) and buy the most recent available Pokemon game.

Our only gaming shops sell Xbox, PS games and old Bintendo and PC games.
