Perhaps making the system more real by adding:
Players wishing to upgrade the guild/org have to invest some money into it (either immediate upgrade or count-down system, I don't know which of the two you prefer, or will be easier to make for our programmers)

Something I just come up with;
After buying a room in an apartment/flat [several flats on each island) you get an code on your trainer card/profile card/profile thingy xD.
If someone wants to visit you in your personal room, they have to go to helpdesk/elevator/NPC and fill in the personal (room)code from the owner of that room.

- They can only enter if the owner is also in the room??
 - Or you can put an password on your room??

You'll be able to grant other player access to your house/apartment. If they have access they can always access it even when you're not around.

I fully agree with this idea! it would add so much fun to having a home/hideout. If you can get collectibles or trophies in the game you should be able to put them in your house on a shelf or something.

Oh, I haven't though of that, Dvys... you raised a good point there.

Ok perhaps the simplest way to do it is to make a player's house/apartment visible only to him/her and to his/her friends in the game. The one who doesn't have any friend will only see his/her.

In the case that person has friends, it will automatically mean that they are in the same group/clan/etc and share a common apartment/guild/etc.

How about you go into a special estate agents building (one on each island) and a box comes up where you type in the trainer's name. This will then take you to their house, without the need for all these buildings clogging up the map.

Nah. The houses will be on the map and they will be for rent. We will make sure there will be enough houses. Just because we'll actually place the houses on the map doesn't mean we can't create an appartment complex.

For those wondering how you fit that many people's houses onto the map, it's a lot like the real world.

Big apartment buildings can hold maybe 100 people, and there can be multiple buildings. For people with enough cash, there will probably be 100 or so individual houses, the ability to rent rooms in random npc's houses in various towns, shared houses (maybe 2-6 bedroom), maybe even beach huts and canal boats!

Player accomodation will be used instead of "filler" buildings that appear in the official games. Because there are so many buildings, there might be a poster or symbol on the outside of buildings which have no purpose other than as player rooms, so you don't waste your time looking inside for quests.
