All I have to say is: "Ouch, my eyes hurt." Tone down on the bright white backgrounds for your text. I don't why you can't just type it all out normally. The site consists of dark colors, so your quests are a tad painful to look at when the page comes up.

On another note, your first quest doesn't really give the reader a lot to go on and I can't really say much on the third either. The second however, caught my attention at the very end. If there are different Pokemon to catch, why not make the rewards depend on the Pokemon brought back to the lady?

The About:

-It's a very simple concept. A story will be told in the form of between 1-3 paragraphs (about 5 sentences each) in every post. The story can go any way the next poster wishes, as long as it makes some kind of sense to the previous post. (Character A should not be at a beach in post 3 and then in a forest battling whatever as an old man post 4.)

-The only thing, and this is where the fun comes in, is that at the end of every post there will be 3 random words (selected at the poster's discretion) that the next poster MUST use in their paragraphs. So, for example, I chose the words: flaying, pedantic, and...frog, the next poster has to use those words in their next post (and have them make some kind of sense).

-The three words can't be immature, foul-mouthed, the the names of real people/places, or words that are not recognized in the English language.

-The game rests more on the posters ability to keep a coherent story going (while having fun tripping others up with weird words), and not on characters and the blah-blah-blah that comes with it. If there is already, say 3 'people' in the story then don't disrupt a story by throwing in some random new one. Seriously. The character's behavior will be up to the poster, but they should not really act different in every post. Come on people, if character A is serious and quiet in post 1, don't make them hyperactive and retarded in post 2.

It was a rather hot day in the valley, and the brown haired boy walking the dusty paths couldn't help but sigh in relief as his village came into view over a ridge. The old windmills dotting the area turned slowly, and the boy wiped the sweat off his forehead, aware that the unsettling calmness was a sign of the dust storms to come. The boy looked to the sky and then quickened his pace.

Most of the players are Pokemon fans already, and it's safe to assume that they've played the games, if only just one, before. In that regard, most of the players will already know how a Pokedex works and how to train and battle wild Pokemon.

This quest isn't really MMO-friendly either, as the same looking man leading every new player around would clutter up the screen (among other things).  ::)

Overall, I agree with Spirit on this. The plot is generic and holds no reason as to why its happening other then because the bad guys want to.

I know grunts tend to be weak and kinda stupid in every Pokemon venture, but the question of 'what's your favorite color' just seems so out of place in this context that I have to wonder if much thought was put into this. Isn't there any other way the player could choose which team they go against? Why are the grunts clearly giving out vital information to their boss' plans? Typically, grunts know the least of the least of the high-ups plans, and only do what they are told at the basic levels.

I suggest you modify this a bit. Why not have have the choice to pick which color to go after the player and the rival team up? That way the player can simply chose: [Do you want to fight the Heartcatchers or the Soulcatches?]

Another thing to think about is the blandness of simply overhearing the locations of the bosses. Why not have the player look for them in a high level cave area, or some crumbling ruins? I don't know when before the Pokemon league you placed this, but it shouldn't be so easy as beat up trainers, beat up boss, blahblahblah.

I like the idea of having to face legendaries in NPC player battles. It adds a cool twist to game.  But, in PU the Pokemon wont be new--as in the Pokemon wouldn't have to be awakened. Lugia and Ho-Oh are originally from the Johto region, so might the enemy bosses simple have been tracking them down and trying to capture them, instead of 'awaking' them?

I have nothing to say about your rewards though. I wouldn't face an entire team of bad guys just for a piece of Rare Candy. How about a cool Pokemon stat booster, or clothing for the player depending on which team they decided to face?

All in all, it was 5/6s boring to read. The 1/6 exciting part being the legendaries under the control of the bad guys. I think all you really need to do is put some more thought into the plot, and try and spice things up a bit.

Meh, it's too simple. Even for a beginner. I'd suggest making the girl harder to find. Or when you're talking to her, a random Pokemon (stronger than normal) leaps out for a fight. ;P

Hm, I was about seven and was at home in my room. I was laying on my bed doing pretty much nothing with my light on. My room was pretty tiny, and the bed was to the left of a small entry way into my room--like right up against a wall, so if anyone came in they'd have to walk by the bed (and me) to get to the rest of the room. Anyways, I was staring up at the ceiling when a black--it looked like a head and shoulders(is what I could see)--something peeked out around the entryway wall and looked right down at me. I sat straight up and flew out of my bed. :P

And of course, my mother was in her room, and my brothers were playing video games in the living room. I also didn't here one sound from whatever it was.

I'm not saying it was a ghost, demon or whatever, I don't know what it was, but I do know that I saw it (and it looked like it saw me). It still creeps me out though. >.<
