Changes to the world or in game story events
« on: January 03, 2012, 08:29:03 PM »
I am big fan of MMORPG because the game can keep changing PU could every year change the game by creating earthquakes, a Hydreiogon (fully evolved Deino) or Gyaragos have destroyed a bunch of towns or cities and instead of them is refugee camp outside smoking with some NPC missing (dead).

No, what would be the point of that. One, it's too much work for the pixel artists. Two, how would this benefit the game? I wouldn't want to go in to PU one day and notice the town I'm in was destroyed, and the quest I was working on can't be completed because the building for that quest is rubble. I seen you post a lot of suggestions. Think before you post, or don't post at all. I'm sorry to point it out, but your ideas are lacking, and need more thought.

Destroyed? You really want to destroy the work of mappers and make them start again?

Maybe for an event where there is some sort of 'parallel world' where one/a limited player sees a destroyed town/city for the sake of a quest, after which the city goes back to normal... otherwise, I will second Cortex's post.

Or what may even happen if you happened to be in that town when you last saved? Your character would suddenly be in a ghost town or to make it more real... dead?
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....
Also, forum notification emails are not getting in my inbox... again...

You could make it so rather than hole towns being destroyed by pokemon, Natural disasters like tornadoes carry pokemon away and there is a limited time quest to save those pokemon.

Just a thought.
