- One more Quiver Dance, then Silver Wind!
- Do not let it set up! Use Chip Away!

[Aquashin]

Volcarona starts using Quiver Dance raising her stats again, but gets hit by Chip Away, getting thrown back fast almost going to hit the wall of the field, she notices she could reverse it, she turns and quickly flaps her wings, hitting the wall with such force, slingshoting her even faster to Druggidon for a full body attack

[Jerry]

Jerry was pleasantly surprised with how Volcarona reacted. It was the chance to finish the Driddigon off.

- Great work Volcanora! Conclude with an Overheat!
- Wait-wait-wait! Driddigon, use Dragon Tail!

[Aquashin]

Volcarona quickly reacted, she gathered up energy on her horns and launched a bright scarlet beam of fire to Druggidon before he could react, launching it agaisnt the wall realy hard

[Jerry]

The trainer retrieved his Druddigon into its pokeball.

- That was a powerful attack... Anyhow, my next pokemon will be Gabite!

The land shark pokemon appeared in front of them.

- Volcanora, come back! Aecheops go!
- Dual Chop!
- Keep it away with Dragon Breath!

Archeops did as he was told and breathed a blueish flame onto the pokemon. However, it found so way past it using its speed and was immediately in front of Archeops with its arms ready to strike.

- Use Acrobatics quick!
- Combine your attack with Dragon Claw!

Archeops swung on the side, the Gabite hitting his left wing, but then, his right wing came back and hit the dragon pokemon to the ground.
- Now use Ancient Power!
- Get up and use Dragon Rush!

As the Gabite regained itself and lunged at Archeops, the latter had gathered rocks around him, as if lifted by a strange purple invisible force and threw them at the attacking pokemon. The Gabite who hadn't have time to reach was nailed to the ground by the rocks.

- Great! Use Wing Attack before it can get up!
- Gabite! Use Dig!

Before Archeops could hit, the Gabite had vanished underground. It was only a question of time before he would resurface and during that time, Archeops could set up.
- Use Double Team! Then prepare a Dragon Breath!

Archeops created illusions of itself gradually filling the area and as soon as Gabite emerged from the ground, all of them fired at it.

- Gabite, use Sandstorm!

The whirling sands immediately negated the beams and destroyed Archeops illusions. But before Gabite could so something else, Archeops appeared behind him and used Crunch on its back side. The now downed pokemon tried to get up, but got a full power Dragon Breath before it could get on its feet.

- G-Gabite?

But the Gabite didn't move. Letting out a sigh, the trainer retrieved his last pokemon.

- I guess you win then. That was a good fight and the Gym Leader is waiting you further ahead. Good luck!
- Come back Archeops! Thank your for that match. Your pokemon are strong too and am sure that my own pokemon have gained some good experience and endurance thanks to them. And thanks for the wishes!

After a couple of minutes advancing on the path, they reached the Gym Leader's cavern.
- Are you ready? Jerry asked his pokemon.

[Aquashin]

Volcarona looked at Jerry and nooded like she was ready for more

[Darkstar64]

-As ready as I'll ever be.

I nod at him, since he can't understand me. I then think about the fight we're about to go in to.

-Hey, Volcarona. Should I go first or would you rather start off?

[Aquashin]

Volcarona looked at Hex

"anyway its fine by me, its up to him to decide"

[Jerry]

Jerry was glad to see that his pokemon were all ready. When they came within sight of the Leaders, Alder was with them talking with a low tone. As soon as he spotted them, he stopped talking and turned towards them.

- There is the trainer! Come here quick.

Jerry exchanged looks with Ruby before taking a quicker pace towards the Gym Leaders.

- Let me introduce you to Drayen and Iris, the two Gym Leaders of the Opelucid City Gym.
- It's nice to meet you trainer. said Drayen.
- Hi! So you're the strong trainer that everyone's talking about? asked Iris giggling a little.

Jerry went a little red at the comment.
- I guess so...
- And since we are here, let's start the battle, if you're ready, of course.
- Sure thing! My pokemon are all excited to battle you!
- I see, so we'll have a double battle! I'll send forth, Fraxure!
- And I'll use Bagon!
- Okay, I'll choose Volcanora and Hex!

(How's that? )

- Bagon, use Focus Energy!
- Fraxure, use Dragon Dance!
- Seems like the field turned into a ball! Volcanora, use Quiver Dance and Hex, open the event with Confuse Ray!

(Um.. yea, sort of ran out of ideas... and I'm taking Confuse Ray to be a multi target move because... 'ray')

[Aquashin]

Volcarona nods and starts flaping its wings arround the field using Quiver Dance to raise its stats

I use confuse ray, which sends a beam at Bagon, then moving to Fraxure, confusing both pokemon. Seeing the Bagon there reminded me of Igneous. I wondered where he was, because I don't remember seeing him recently.

I stared blankly at the floor. I started getting distracted, thinking about him and where he might be.

(This means he's probably going to get hit by the next attack, maybe miss instructions.)

[PkMn Trainer Black]

Martha was suprised that Her newly evolved Excadrill learned Fissure. She went to the battle stage and seen Brycen.

Brycen- so you came, Martha.

Suddenly, a bunch of ace trainers surrounded her. They all sent out ice pokemon. there were at least 12 of them.

Martha- what is the meaning of this?

Brycen-"Your" Zororark almost killed us all in there! I won't take any chances.

Martha(facepalming)- the reason Skylin went Haywire was because of "this."

She shown the dark jewel to everyone in the gym.

Martha-as long as it's not in his hands, he'll be fine.

Brycen- Ice Beam Barrage!

Ice beams from all directions came at Martha. She suddenly sent out Infernape, Skyline, and Excadrill.

Martha- Infenape, Flare-quacke! Skyline, Brick Daze! Ecxadrill, Fissure-storm!

the comination off all attacks created smoke. All the ace trainers were gone.

Brycen-Fine, then. Vannillish!

Martha- Excadrill!

Brycen- Automize then Iron Defence!

Speed and Defence Sharply Rose!

Martha-Sandstorm!

Brycen- Keep boosting your Stats, Vannillish!

Vannillish used Automize and ID

Martha- Excadrill, Rock Slide!

Brycen- Dodge.

Vanillish's Speed allowed it to dodge.

Matrha-Keep 'em coming.

Excadrill kept up until he grew tired with the last one hitting Vanillish, flinching it.
 
Martha-Now! Excadrill, Drill Run!

Brycen- Icickle Spear!

the spheres kept pelting Excadrill, but it broke through them and landed a Critical hit, nearly fainting it. Sadly for Brycen, the Sandstom finished the job, then faded.

Brycen- Well done, Vannillish.

[Jerry]

- Not bad! Fraxure, use Dragon Claw on Umbreon!
- Bagon, infuse Fraxure's claws with your Dragon Breath!

The Fraxure's claws glew bright green from the Dragon Breath of its partner and the Fraxure was dangerously approaching Hex.

- Volcanora, get them with Silver Wind! Hex get ready to attack the Bagon with one of your Shadow Ball!

(Sorry, I got busy lately )

Volcarona rushed to be over Hex and started flaping its wings, sending arcs of Silver Wind to Fraxure to try stop it in its tracks

Brycen-Cyrogonal, stand by.

Martha-Drilbur, Return! Let's go, Leafeon!

Brycen- Start it off with Flash Cannon!

Light gathered at the face of Cyrogonal and launched itself at Leafeon.

Martha- Quick Blade.

Leafeon charged at the FC, but it subcame to it and was sent flying.

Brycen-Finish it with Ice Beam!

Leafeon fainted.

Martha- Thanks, Leafeon. Get a nice rest. Infernape!

Brycen-Rain Dance!

It started to pour rain.

Martha- Fiery Combat!

Cyrogonal recieved a burn during the moves.

Brycen-Cyrogonal, Hidden Power!

The Rain from Rain Dance Sharply and Rapidly pelted Infernape. They Both Fainted.
