Soren was getting his ass kicked by the gym leader. I started to wonder if I could beat him if Soren couldn't... But Zero must have sensed my lack of confidence because he broke his silence and used telepathy to talk to me.
Rex, have we ever lost? I will fight until I can't move, we will win!
I was shocked.
Am I hearing things?
No, I didn't trust you fully until now. Now I do and I am sharing my ability to talk to humans to you!

With Dawn gone, Martha healed her pokemon again at the pokemon center. She then went to the museum. She didn't have the gym battle on her mind and started reading outside. She decided to call her father.

Hey, Daddy.

Hey. So how many battles you've won?

Nine, right now. After my second gym badge, I'll only need nine more.

Ah. The Roar-Mean Look gym. I need to tell you two things.

Let me hear the bad thing first.

It's not neccecarily bad, but the egg is barely glowing, meaning that It's going to hatch after a few days. The second thing is that... Dawn is your older sister.

Martha was silent for a moment.

...You're kidding.

Martha, you know I don't make jokes about this kind of stuff.

Well... if what you say is true, then 1, who is my mother? 2, Why weren't they living with us? 3, Why do we look completely different?

For 1, Johanah, another TC. For 2, She wanted you to be in a different region. For 3... You and Dawn were opposites.

She hung up her cell phone and put the thought of being Dawn's sister aside. She went back into the museum.

"Whilipede, use Poison Tail!"
"dodge it and use Air Cutter!"
Pidove was hit by Poison Tail, which poisoned it. Pidove used Aircutter, but was hurt by the poison.
"Whirlipede, use Pursuit!"
"Use Aircutter Pidove!"
Whirlipede fainted from Pidove's attack, while Pidove was hurt by the poison.
Burgh sent out his Dwebble.
"Dwebble, use Smack Down!"
"Use Quick Attack!"
Pidove's attack hit first, but it didn't do much. Dwebble's attack did a lot of damage to Pidove.

JerryEDIT: One small issue better presented. "and Pidove took was hurt' -> "while Pidove was hurt"

Do you have any other powers that I don't know about?
No Rex I don't. But I do come from a long line of the most powerful Zoroarks and that is why I am so strong. And with me by your side you, no we will never taste defeat!
Zero let out his battle roar. It startled me that he was that strong

"Pidove, use Air Cutter!"
"Dwebble, use Smack Down!"
Pidove's attack didn't do much, and it fainted from Dwebble's attack.
Soren sent out Lampent.
"Lampent, use Confuse Ray!"
"Dwebble, use Pursuit!"
Dwebble's attack was super effective, and did a lot of damage.
"Lampent, use Flame Burst!"
"Dwebble, use Pursuit!"
Soren't pokemon had slowly reduced Dwebble's health. It would faint soon. Lampent fainted from Dwebble's attack. Soren sent out his Cyndaquil, which was his last pokemon.

[Mr. Fox]

When I battle this guy do you want to be first?
Na, let Punkser have the fun. This guy is a pushover. Zero laied down and fell asleep.

[TrainerX]

"Cyndaquil, use Ember!"
"Dwebble, use Smack Down!"
"Use Ember again!"
"Use Faint Attack!"
Dwebble fainted. The only pokemon Burgh had left was Leavanny.
"Leavanny, use Razor Leaf!"
"Cyndaquil, use Ember!"
Leavanny's attack did more damage to Cyndaquil than Soren thought it would.
"Cyndaquil, use Ember!"
"Leavanny, use Protect, and Razor Leaf!"
Leavanny didn't take damage because of Protect, and hit Cyndaqul with Razor Leaf.
"Cyndaquil, use Quick Attack!"
"Leavanny, use String Shot!"
Cyndaquil was slowed down by String Shot after it's attack hit.
"Use Razor Leaf!"
The attack was a critical hit, and Cyndaquil Fainted.
Burgh said something to Soren, but Soren wasn't paying attention and had no idea what he said. He sat down on the bench to watch Rex. Hopefully, Rex would do better.
He'll be more preapared since he's seen Burgh battle

I stood up and kicked Zero. He woke up and snarled.
WHAT?!

The Pokemon I will be using are Punkster, Zero, and Sableye. Punkster lets go!

 I hope Rex studied Burgh's strategies while I was battling.

I need to catch another pokemon. Servine, I need help.

Servine came out of her pokeball.

Zorua, Servine, I need both of your help. I need another pokemon to help our team. And someone to spar with Panpour. So how 'bout it?

Both pokemon nodded and dacided to go out to Route 3. After a few minutes, a Blitzle came charging at Martha. Zorua pushed her out of the way in the nick of time. The Blitzle was coming back around with Flame charge. Martha thanked Zoura and seen it coming towards her. She panicked.

Panpour, stop it with Water Gun, STAT!

Panpour came out and did as it was told. Ironically, the Flame Charge faded, and Blitzle couldn't see. Panpour dashed towards it and started scratching rapidly, fainting it. Panpour learned Fury Swipes!

Go Pokeball!

The ball shook about seven times before a sparkle showed.

Excellent job, Panpour!

Panpour smiled eagerly to do better for her.

Fine then I will send out Whirlipede!
Punkster Dragon Dance!
Burgh told his pokemon to use Screech. The move hit Punkster and lowed his defense.
Dragon dance again and dodge what ever he throws at you!
He told his pokemon to use Poison Tail. Punkster was hit by the attack and poised. Fortinetly his Shed Skin kicked in and Healed him.
Head Smash!
Poison Tail!
The attacks hit with a huge explosion and i waited for the smoke to clear...

Okay. Let's get you healed.

Martha and her pokemon went to the pokemon center to heal the Blitzle. She then picked out another book when she got to the museum. This book didn't wanna come, so she decided to go to a lower floor, being the gym arena

I am Martha and I challange you to a gym battle.

It will be a Two-on-Two battle.

Fine by me.

If she uses that combo, Martha thought to herself, then my best bet would be Servine and then Blitzle.

[Aka-Kami]

- What do you say Ruby? Want to have a little 2 on 2 battle?

- Sure, i'm up for it!

I pat Reimu on his head and tell him we're having our first battle.

- I'm sure we'll win Reimu! Believe in yourself!

((He's lv 13. Moves: Tackle, Leer, Charge and Spark.))

Grabbing a pokeball, Jerry let Monferno out.

- Okay, Monferno, you'll fight alongside Reimu.

The two kids both sent out a Herdier.

- Okay, Monferno, I count on you!

*Monfer!*

- Herdier, Helping Hand!
- Herdier, Take Down on Reimu!
- Monferno, Flame Wheel on the Herdier!

Monferno intercepted the Herdier, taking some damage in doing so, but protected Reimu nonetheless.

When the smoke cleared both pokemon were still standing. They stood there looking at each other daring the other to move, then they both fainted. Crap this guy is good.
Sableye lets go!
Dweeble lets have some fun!
I told Sableye to use Toxic on the Dweeble. Burgh told it to dodge with Faint Attack. It did and hit Sableye doing massive damage.Sableye used toxic and hit it this time.
Dweeble Smack Down!
Before Sableye could react he was hit and Fainted.
This was not good...
Zero lets show them our dark side!
Zero came out of his pokeball asleep... When he noticed hi was in battle he woke up and apologized to me. He lets out his usual roar to let them know they were in for trouble.
Zero Flamethrower!
Faint Attack!
Illusion Army!
Zero's form flickered and faded then there were hundreds of him. The dweeble was confused as which on to hit giving Zero plenty of time to hit it with Flamethrower... The attack Fainted it.
Levanny let finish this!
Zero let his Illusion fade and let out the loudest roar I had ever heard. He was going to
beat this thing down with out his Illusion.
