I sat down on my bench and let Trubbish out of his Pokeball. He dived into a trash can nearby.

Nosepass tried to climb up on the bench but wasnt tall enough, So he placed a rock as a step to get up.

Klink came out of his Pokeball and began to fly around happily while we waited for Ruby.

[Jerry]

Jerry during this time wandered around the small city. A school... a market with some local products... while a trainer there seemed deep into his thoughts. Ruby had gone in the pokemon centre and was healing her pokemon.

- Hello! Something the matter?
- Oh, sorry, no no. Just thinking about something... Speaking of which, would you like a battle with me? A triple battle rotation. The rules are simple, you send out three of your pokemon, but only one will battle at one time. You can switch in before each attack. The first trainer to faint all the other trainer's will be considered as the winner. How about it?

Jerry's Zebstrika only powered up the foe and got hit with Flame Charge, meaning that the other Zebstrika now had 2 buffs in speed!

:: - Sandile, switch in and use Sand Tomb!
:: - Basculin, switch in and use Aqua Jet!

- You're too predictable my friend, haha!

Sandile was badly hurt with the attack, and Basculin wasn't so bothered by Sand Tomb.

- I think I understand now...

:: - Archen switch in and use Ancient Power!
:: - Zebstrika switch in and use Flame Charge!

- Um... I see that you learned from your lesson...

Archen hit Zebstrika hard and got its stats boosted, and Zebstrika's Flame charge didn't seem to have much effect on Archen.

:: - Good! Sandile move in with Mud Slap!
:: - Zebstrika use Spark!

Sandile was unaffected and Zebstrika's sight was once again reduced.

:: - Sandile, Mud Shot!
:: - Krokorok, switch in and use Assurance!

Krokorok was now slowed down and Sandile was getting really tired.

:: - Sandile, Sand Tomb!
:: - Krokorok, use Swagger!

- Darn, I thought you'd switch to Archen...

Sandile got confused, but fortunately, it attacked. Boosted by swagger, Sand Tomb instantly knocked Krokorok out, activating Moxie of Sandile.

:: - Sandile move in and use Mud Shot!
:: - Basculin, use Aqua Jet!

Sandile fainted upon being hit.

- Nice move...

:: - Archen, use Ancient Power!
:: - Zebstrika, move in and use Spark!

Zebstrika missed its attack, allowing Archen to hit it directly.

:: - Okay, time to end this, Zebstrika, move in with Pursuit!
:: - Zebstrika, use Spark!

Jerry's Zebstrika was powered up this time, and hit Zebstrika, knocking it out.

:: - Spark!
:: - Aqua Jet!

Basculin fainted.

- Okay, good match, you picked things quickly I see. Good luck with the City's Gym!
- Wait... there is one here? Oh right, duh, I had forgotten about it completely. Thanks for the match!
- Anytime!

A Riolu, oh yeah you have never seen one. It is from the Sinnoh Reagin and evolves into Lucario.
Ever since I battled that Lucario on Route 3 I have wanted one.
Come on, Riolu is a good pokemon!
If it is so good then why are you trading it?
You see this thing hates me, it seems to like you thou...
He was right, it had come up to me and was standing very close.
Fine. I tossed him the Pokeball to Sabelye.
You better take good care of him!

The kid tossed me Riolu's Pokeball and ran off.
I keeled down and went face to face with the Pokemon.
I hope you don't mind me calling you Spike.
No I don't, just as long as you don't disown me like he did.
It talked! What luck I had! Now I had two pokemon that could talk.
So I am heading North to get a rare rock you can battle along the way and we can get to know each other...

I started walking towards the exit and Spike followed me...

My pokemon get healed, but I decide to keep Reimu in his Pokeball. I go up to the freezer and buy myself and the group a drink. Suddenly, a kid burst into the room. He looked at me, and yelled if I have an Emolga. I look at him with one eyebrow raised, and he realised his rudeness. He walked up to me.

- Uh, sorry for that. Do you have an Emolga by chance? I'd really like one, and i'll trade you this lv 15 Vulpix. Please? I need to impress my friends because they only accept bird-keepers.

-Um, sure! my parents showed me a Vulpix once and it was really cute!

I unclipped Emolga's Pokeball and handed it over to the kid.He swaps it for the Vulpix. I release Vulpix from his Pokeball, and he quickly sucks up to me. He is so obedient! I let him walk by my side outside, and I gaze at the unfamiliar town.s

Jerry quickly got his pokemon healed at the city's pokemon centre. He found Sky sitting on a bench and saw Ruby head for the cold storage. Wondering a little, Jerry went there after some time, only to find her with a Growlithe, a fire pokemon usually found in Kanto.

- Hey, that seems like a healthy Vulpix you have here. Anything interesting around here?

The three trainers moved out of the way and Martha stopped "braking" and continued to run to the end of the bridge. When she got there, she fainted at the edge of the city. Her pokemon were worried, especially worried, especially Zorua and Servine. Suddenly, Zorua obtained an idea and instantly used its ability to look like Togekiss. Talking to the other pokemon, Roggenrola, Panpour, and blitzle went in their pokeballs by theirselves. Servine used Vine Whip to get Martha on Zorua's back, then she got on his back herself. The trainer sent out a Scraggy.

Spike ran up to the scraggy. and grabbed it. His palms started to glow then boom the blew up. The force of the Explosion sent the Scraggy flying.
Hit it with Head Butt!
Detect!
Spike focused his mind and blocked the attack. As it passed him he grabbed it and used Force Palm again, sending it flying in to a rock. The dust cleared and the Scraggy was fainted.
Good job Spike! Here have a berry.
I tossed a kelpsy berry at him, he caught it and ate it.
Yum that is my favorite berry!
Lets go and find this rock...

Servine, Zorua, and Martha's father were standing over her when she woke up.

Zoura and Servine were worried about you and brought you home.

I'm sorry. Guess i should stop rushing, huh?

Before I forget, How many battles do you need?

Suddenly, the egg hatched into a Deino.

How 'bout this: You battle Deino and catch it.

Dein!

Fine by me.

They went outside and Panpour was used. Deino instantly used Dragon Rage, hitting Panpour for a fixed amount of damage.

Fury Swipes!

Panpour ended the 4-hit combo with a uppercut swipe. Deino then used Dark Pulse.

Water Gun!

It ended in a draw of power. Deino used tackle, which was a critical hit! Panpour got up and launched a burst of boiling water, having Deino take massive damage and receving a burn.

Panpour, you just learned Scald! Looks like this battle is over. Pokeball!

The ball caught Dieno in a matter of moments. She let him out of the pokeball afterwards.

How would you like being called Cerberus?

Deino enjoyed it and went back in it's pokeball because it still had a burn.

Zoura, Could you get me back to the end of the bridge?

Zoura turned into Togekiss again and Martha called back Panpour and Servine.

Don't over-exert your self, Martha.

With those words from her father, she took off.

A loud bang suddenly was heard. It came from the cold storage.

- I'm going in to see what that was, it certainly isn't something normal.

Jerry ran inside, to see Team Plasma Grunts.

- You again? This time, you won't get away easily. Monferno and Drilbur go!
- I can't believe it. That kid again has come to spoil our plans? Go Watchog!
- I'll help you then. Go Liepard!

The grunts sent out Watchog and Liepard.

Eventually I got to the Resort Desert.
This is where we will find the Meteor. If you find a strange looking rock tell me.

I let Zero out of his pokeball and told him the same thing.
After an hour of searching, we found what we were looking for. A meteor that was said to increases Psychic powers.
Lets go...
Not so fast! I see that you have been letting the Pokemon I traded you walk around. I want to battle and see witch one is best!

The kid sent out his Sabelye, and Spike stepped forward.
Sabelye Double Team.
Force Palm!

 Soren followed Charlie inside. His house was a huge mess. There were books all over the place. Charlie started looking for something. He threw books and other things just lying around, trying to find whatever he was looking for.
"I just have to find something, hold on a second! It must be here somewhere..."
He ran from room to room, looking for the item he was trying to find.
"I found it!"
He came back to the door, and gave Soren a strange gem.
"This is an Eviolite. If you give it to your pokemon that can evolve, it will raise it's Defense and Special Defense. Now, let's start training."
Soren gave Cyndaquil the Eviolite, and followed Charlie out the door.

When she got to the end of the bridge, Martha entered Castelia City and wanted to take a view of everything in it. She first went to a pier, where she encountered someone who was in there.

Which of the monkeys do you prefer?

The man instantly threw a Water Stone. Martha caught it.

She walked out of the pier.

Spike grabbed Krookodile before it could power up and shot it into a rock. Krookodile just stood up and used Bulk Up, like nothing had happened.

You got the short end of the stick my friend! You should have never traede this beast away! That Rulio is a weak pokemon!

Spike Force Palm!
Spike grabbed the Krookodile and shot hit it with Force Palm, but this time it didn't even move...

Spike focused his mind and dodged the attack and then started to glow.
Wha... that cant be! I mean, you have only had it for a couple hours!

Spike stoped glowing and was no longer a Roulio, but a Lucario.

Good, Aura Sphere!

Martha went to the gym in the city. There was honey on the walls of the gym. Ahead was the Gym Leader.

Hello. I suppose you're here to claim my badge?

Yes.

Well then, let's see who has better inspiration. Whirlipede!

Roggenrola, it's showtime!

- Drilbur, Hone Claws! Monferno, Mach Punch on Liepard!
- Fake out on Monferno.
- Super Fang on Drilbur.

Monferno was stopped dead in his attack and Drilbur was already getting tired.

- Okay, Try again Mach Punch Monferno. Drilbur, time to use Rock Slide!
- Liedpard, Torment on Monferno.
- Watchog, use Confuse Ray on Monferno.

Liepard unexpectedly held on, and Watchog got Monferno Confused. However, Drilbur's attack hit both foes, fainting Liepard.

- Go Trubbish! Use Sludge on Monferno!
- Drilbur, dig! Monferno, Flame Wheel on Watchog!
- Watchog, dodge then Super Fang!

Watchog dodged Monferno's attack. The Sludge got in Monferno's Flame Wheel, whirled and was thrown everywhere on the field, hitting Watchog and Trubbish.

- Good move Monferno, Mach Punch on Watchog now! Drilbur, take Trubbish!
- Watchog use Hypnosis on Monferno!
- Trubbish, Sludge on Monferno again!

Before it could move, Watchog was knocked out. Drilbur hit Trubbish and Monferno got poisoned by the sludge attack.

- Go Sandile! Use Mud Shot!
- Use Rock Slide Drilbur and Monferno, Mach Punch!

Monferno knocked out the small Sandile with a shingle shot, Drilbur then put an end to the match by fainting Trubbish. A man entered and asked what was happening here. The Team Plasma Leader was not the least competent about hiding what they were doing actually. Soon, police came in and took them away.

- Thank you for helping us catch those guys.
- It's okay, I've been trying to get them for a while now, with no success until now.
- Oh, so you'll be Jerry. Burgh and Aloe told me about you Well, see you in my gym!

The man then got out.
