Larvesta climbed up him to his head to travel confortably

At some point, Jerry and Ruby came to a fork. Not quite knowing where to go Jerry made a decision.

- Let's go right.
- Wait! I can see a mark on the rock here. Maybe they went that way?
- You're right, I haven't noticed it, let's go left then.

Quickening their paste, they went deeper, until suddenly, Monferno let out a shout and disappeared from their sight, falling down.

- Monferno!!!
- Oh no!

Jerry quickly sent out Archeops and sent it down to fetch Monferno. In his descent, Monferno got hold of a big root, but the latter quickly weakened and snapped under Monferno's weight. Archeops caught him just then, and flew upwards, depositing Monferno on safe ground. Jerry and Monferno grabbed each other in their arms.

- Monferno, I was so worried! I'm so glad you're safe now.
*Monferno!*

- What should we do now? We cannot move forward, and we don't know if Hex or Bagon fell in here too...
- I'm completely lost... HEX! BAGON! shouted Jerry in hope to hear them. But his voice echoed through the caves without any reply...

[Darkstar64]

-hex...bagon...

I could hear Jerry very faintly. I knew he was looking for us.

Hex: They're looking for us. Don't worry, I know how to signal them.

I turned around, back the way we came and used darkstars, firing it back in the direction of the fork. I knew that I was one of the very few pokemon who could use that technique, so if they saw it, they would know where we were.


Hex: That should work. Let's keep moving.

[PkMn Trainer Black]

Martha- Skyline, now.

Skyline picked up the flute and gave it to her. Martha had seen the sun come out andhis eyes are no longer blue. Knowing the piece, she played the song in forte as they traveled. They got to the cave to enter the mountain. The echos were loud, so as they traveled, Martha hoped that someone could hear the song.

[Jerry]

(that wouldn't work DarkStar, since we're not at the fork...)

Standing at the top of the cliff, no sound could be heard.

- They could have taken the other path after all... aww, I wish I hadn't seen the mark... it could have been made earlier by someone else, or...
- Don't blame yourself Ruby, let's try to go the other way.

They made it as fast as possible, reaching the fork, they turned right and rushed down.

(I didn't think so. Well, I did say hopefully.)

We continued walking, until I heard something. It sounded like footsteps. I quickly jumped around, and entered a fighting stance.

Hex: Someone's coming. Be on your guard.

[Aquashin]

Larvesta was looking everywhere on top of Jerry's head, but she was scared and shivering a bit, she didnt liked caves, caves for her meant Rock Type pokemon, which she is realy weak agaisnt.

[Jerry]

As we went on deeper, Monferno slowed down a little. There was some light coming from the front, and it sure wasn't daylight. Monferno bent down to take a few sniffs then rushed forward. A little confused, Jerry did the same , followed by Ruby.

- There you are! I was worried you know? But what are you doing here all by yourselves?

[Darkstar64]

Hex: Oh, it's Jerry. I thought you were an angry pokemon.

It's a little hard to indicate the message, "We're looking for some Evolite, want to help?", so I just asked him to follow us.

[Jerry]

Seeing that Hex wanted to proceed further, Jerry didn't really have the choice now. Going back would take a long time and this probably was one of the ways to get through Twist Mountain to get to Iccirus City.

- Okay, we'll follow you, but next time, at least let us know where you are going, okay?
- And you look exhausted, Hex. I'd say you hardly slept, if at all last night. You shouldn't overdo yourself. Pokemon who do, gradually get weaker.
- Now that you say it Ruby, Hex does seem a tad tired. Anyway, I hope you get to do whatever you are trying to do soon so I may know exactly what you're trying to do.

After Jerry calmed down, he noticed that Larvesta was shivering. It probably was because of the cave. Quietly, Jerry picked her from his head and took her in his arms to reassure her.

[Aquashin]

As Larvesta is being picked up and then holded on Jerry's arms, she felt more calm and cuddles on his arms feeling much better

[Mr. Fox]

The two humans came out of no where. I didn't know what to do at first. I decided that they were friends. I walked up to the male trainer..

-I am Igneous. Mind if I travel with you for a bit?

He was too busy talking to Hex, so i gave him a "light" headbutt to get his attention.

[Jerry]

Before he could take another step, the Bagon jumped towards Jerry head first, and it seemed as he targeted Larvesta. He wasn't sure what was happening, but he swayed sideways barely making Larvesta avoid the hit.

- Hey, what's wrong with you?

((And no, I'm not supposed to understand pokemon, especially pokemon I don't know... so you got to figure out a way or other like the rest ))

[Aquashin]

Larvesta looked at the Bagon and shaked her head slowly

"if you wanted his attencion, you should have said, i could have moved a bit to get his attencion, you dont need to headbut him, he thought you were attacking him"

[Mr. Fox]

((understood Jerry.))

I missed the person and ran straight into the wall...

I pulled my head out of the rock and looked at the larvesta, then back at the human. How was I going to tell this person what I wanted to?

-I want to travel with you! Realizing that he would never understand me I pointed at larvesta, then pointed in the direction he was going. I hope he understood what I was trying to say...
