double battles
« on: June 27, 2010, 05:58:25 AM »
I was wondering if there would be any double battles, like in pokemon xd gale of darkness. those who played the game know what im talking about, where each trainer use 2 pokemon at the same time.

im not saying all the battles would be that way but maybe a couple to change things up a bit.

and I did try to search this and nothing came up, also i want to make it clear I'm not really suggesting it I guess but mostly just asking

Um... did you try out the 'About the Game'? :)

Here's the line I'm talking about:

Quote
Battle against NPC's and other players. Including team battles (e.g. 2 vs 2).
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....
Also, forum notification emails are not getting in my inbox... again...

Something to consider is when someone challenges a player, there can be an option for a single or double battle.

I distinctly remember a conversation of 3v3, and yes, at some point, 3v3 will be added.

Well, 3 on 3 will be added, but don't count on it very soon. That system is new even for Nintendo, in 5th generation, that is.

Let's just throw in 6v6, just 'cause we can.
No, actually, you have to remember that this isn't a handheld. It's an MMO, and that means that the game mechanics have to be distictly less batsh*t complicated, otherwise, there will be way too much lag to enjoy the game. 4v4 battles, for instance, would cause lag even for two fast computers with a great connection to the server.

Pfft. If you think that THAT was a long post, you won't last long around here. By my standards, that was a really short post. I can't make one reply that isn't long-winded, hence why I'm currently typing instead of hitting the 'post' button.

You seemed to imply that it was long. What did you mean by saying you didn't want a lecture on American History?
