Golden pokemon?
« on: July 06, 2010, 06:28:25 PM »
Has there been any thought into putting Golden pokemon into the game? I know it was done in the official games where they where very rare to find. It would be a good way to add some more valuable items into the game.
Anyone have suggestions to improve upon this idea? And your thoughts on this?

Well, you don't seem to know what those 'golden' pokemon are... They are called shiny pokemon, and not all of them have a golden colour. Gyarados, for example is red, Pichu is orange, etc.

And yes, the shiny pokemon will be included in the game. It was already discussed. If the search bar works, it should lead you to the threads concerning shiny pokemon.

Oh, and by coincidence, you can see one shiny pokemon in my signature, a green Zubat. It's not golden, but only a different colour. When you send them in battle, you can see some stars shining :)

yep, Golden Pokemon, NO

Shinies and Normal-Colored YES

Thats really all there is to say for it.

I have nothing to do with putting things in the Game, but if a member of the team posted here,

They did add Golds in a couple of the online ones, PokemonIndigo has Golds and Shiny's, they made it so you can get regulars and shiny's at anytime but you have to have all of the badges to catch golds.

Yes, I know that. This is not an MMO designed with Golds as a Style

The only Gold I can think of that Will be used is Groudon, Gold is his Shiny color, but Hes a legend, AKA 'Seen, Not used.' and a Shiny of a legend? They probably wont bother.

...Did you read ANY of the other posts? We've already established he was talking about shinies. This counts as something akin to necromancing. Not because the thread is old, but because the question's already been answered and closed. :-\
