Pokemon Code
« on: July 30, 2010, 12:05:00 AM »
I'm sure it's been asked before but i'm sorta new so i apologize. Does the PU team plan on using some of the same basic code for pokemon mechanics. Such as IVs and EVs and the chance of finding a shiny. Stuff like that. I know it's really vague, but maybe it can start an in depth discussion on PU's code.

EVs (or EPs) : No
IVs : Yes
Shinies: Yes

Chance of finding shinies, I guess it'll be the same number, as it could be or IVs

Instead of EVs there will be talent trees specific to each Pokemon. Not much is known about this system, but it will be like EVs

KamEdit: Statpoints is the new thing in Balance. Pidgey will address this sooner or later in one of his balance videoes.

Am I a ghost or a man? Or a man-ghost offspring that come from mi father's inexplicable penetration of mi mother's ghostly woman parts? Or am I a child imitating a man's ability to change into a ghostly form in order to preserve mi appellation?

I'm sure this sound like a odd question, but what are IV's?

Talent trees are as of now trashed, until further notice.
