Hurricane to hit east coast
« on: August 27, 2011, 12:08:46 AM »
So basically there is going to be a category 2-3 hurricane in the east coast. This is crazy, it's supposed to happen anywhere the 27th - 29th. So yea if you live near DC, MD, VA, NY then you're out of luck so that means i'm out of luck. Hopefully it doesn't pass category 3 that would just be too much. I'm not trying to scare anyone just trying to inform then.

Here are category details

Hope everyone is okay after it happens

What county do you live in?
Down south in St. Mary's everybody is freaking out. All the grocery stores are packed and almost empty. There will probably be a day or two of power outage, but nothing too serious.

Look at the southern-most point of Maryland, that's about where I am.
Right now it is pretty windy and it's raining a bit. Nothing compared to what's supposed to be coming later today.

I heard that Irene regressed into a tropical storm. It won't be much of a threat after all, so it seems.

Unless the same thing that occured some time ago here happens there :P

A storm weakened, then got stronger at sea, before coming back stronger than ever XD
