Sorry if someone already asked this, but I wanted to know if any of the new pokemon were actually evolutions of the old ones. And not just "This Pokemon looks like this pokemon"

I saw a pink water type that looks like it would be an evolution of Luvdisc. I don't really know anything for sure as far as any gen V pokemon related to past gen pokes.

So far, nothing was said that could hint that any Gen V pokemon were any of the previous pokemon's evolution. I'll go by that that no Gen V pokemon are evolution of past generations of pokemon.

Not even Mamanbou, or Baffuron are the evolutions of Luvdisc and Tauros respectively.

No Eevee evolutions either

What do you want? They want to make money... they send the Japanese version first, since the US/EU versions come later, they know that some people will buy the JAP version in the meanwhile and later buy the US/EU version... That's business...
