I'm actually suprised cuz I've never pixelated in my life... EVER but anyway I'm just messing with the paperdolls now, trying to choose which outfit. But in the meantime I'm just creating some junky stuff.

When did everybody get good at pixel art?

That's the same thing I was thinking. Our pixel skills aren't that good, but if you take into account that we do this for the first time (like lubbies just said), then it's very good! It's pretty easy to create some pixel art, if you have the right inspiration! Choosing the right colors is probably the hardest part.

Agreed. I was the same way in the professor Alder sprite contest :P

I'm passing off on that one. I'm really busy till mid June and once there, I'm planning to catch up on other stuff.

I think I'll try to make one, seeing as how for once, I have a free weekend.

Edit: I think it turned out pretty well, considering it's my first attempt at pixel art ever. I think it looks more like an NPC more than a main character, but I'm working on one of those...

Darkstar, try extending the hair on the back of his head a bit more, there's too much space there :P

Darkstar can you shade the pants a bit more and the hair at the back can be more creative.

Yuki that's amazing. Now you're making me feel jealous...

Monzta,  I tried your suggestion, and it turned out much better than before. Lubbies, I couldn't do anything about the back of the head design though, because everything I tried looked terrible.

Maybe what you could try is to mak it less...spike-y. Make the hair on the back of the head a little more rounded, or make the points smaller.

Today I spent some time on my paperdoll. It's almost done, I've changed the hair a bit and made a costume. Only need to create the other variants and adjust some small things. I'm not actually taking that much care of shadow. What you think?
