I love how the storyline is long enough that you get a good amount of gameplay from it, and there was still the Battle Tower/Frontier afterwards.

lol i usually don't bother with battle frontier i find it boring and very tedious

Leftovers, Choice band, TM 26, etc are very good rare items.

my fave was that feeling of success when you finnaly beat that one guy who was eluding you or caught that pokemon you were hunting for a long time. its the feeling of accomplishment and success i loved.

I really enjoy the breeding, IV, and EV aspect of the game. It gives me a whole slew of things to do once I've beaten the game. Honestly, I love breeding and training Pokemon. Not only that, but there is a certain... joy when you first hatch an egg; followed by finding out that it has the exact IV's you were hoping for.

I honestly think that Crystal had the best story in the entire series. I can't even take DPPt seriously.

I really liked the elite 4. Didn't matter how many times I beat them, it was always fun trying to do it with a new combination of pokemon.

the elite 4 was fun i remember trying to crush them with just 1 pokemon and then failing. it was still awsome almost making it.
